Self-exclusion Policy
Scope and purpose
Swiss4win provides a formal self-exclusion mechanism to assist players in managing gambling activity. This policy applies to all users and accounts registered with Swiss4win and governs self-exclusion and related measures across all Swiss4win products and services.
Definitions
Self-exclusion means a user-selected, fixed-period restriction that closes the user’s Swiss4win account for the duration, preventing login, deposits, withdrawals and play. Time-out denotes a shorter, interim break from play with separate limitations. Financial protections include user-defined limits on spend or losses that can be set in the account settings and are enforceable during normal use unless lifted or adjusted.
Initiating self-exclusion
Self-exclusion may be requested by (a) the user while logged in via the account settings, or (b) by contacting the Swiss4win Customer Care team. When a request is received, the system will present the available exclusion periods. The user must select a predefined period; there is no option to edit the chosen period after confirmation. Before initiating, the user should request any outstanding cash-outs, as withdrawal requests are not guaranteed during the exclusion period.
Effects during self-exclusion
- Account access is disabled for the entire selected period; login, deposits and withdrawals are blocked and the user cannot place bets or access products.
- Promotional materials and marketing communications directed to the user are blocked during the exclusion.
- Any pending or in-progress transactions will be processed in accordance with standard policies prior to exclusion; new deposits or withdrawals are not permitted during the exclusion.
Duration and extensions
The self-exclusion period is fixed at the time of initiation and cannot be modified by the user during the period. A user may seek an extension by submitting a written request to the Swiss4win Customer Care team; extensions are considered at Swiss4win’s sole discretion and may be granted for additional predefined periods.
Revocation and reactivation
Automatic reactivation occurs at the end of the exclusion period. If a user wishes to revoke the exclusion earlier, they must submit a written or electronic revocation request. Swiss4win will review the request and may, at its sole discretion, deny it. If no decision is communicated within a reasonable period after receipt of the request, the exclusion remains in force and the account will be reopened only upon a formal determination that the exclusion has ended.
Financial protections and limits
In addition to self-exclusion, users may set financial limits within the My Account area. If a user exceeds the maximum self-imposed limit, deposits or other eligible actions may be restricted. Any adjustment to limits or initiation of an exclusion may be revoked only through the formal process described above and is subject to Swiss4win’s discretion.
Promotions and communications
Swiss4win will take reasonable steps to ensure that self-excluded users do not receive promotional materials. Compliance with this requirement cannot be guaranteed in all circumstances, but all practicable measures will be implemented to prevent outreach directed at excluded accounts.
Compliance, circumvention, and liability
Users must not attempt to circumvent Swiss4win’s self-exclusion mechanisms, including by registering new accounts or altering registration details. The user holds responsibility for any actions taken to circumvent any exclusion. Swiss4win disclaims liability for continued gambling activity that occurs as a result of circumvention or non-compliance by the user.
Assistance and professional support
If you experience gambling-related issues, seek professional help through licensed services in your jurisdiction. Swiss4win provides information on responsible gambling and will support users in accessing appropriate assistance where available, while maintaining user privacy and data security.
Data, privacy, and records
Self-exclusion and related actions are recorded in accordance with Swiss4win’s Privacy Policy and Terms. Information collected for compliance purposes will be handled in line with applicable data protection laws and retained for the period required by regulatory obligations.
Contact and initiation channels
To initiate self-exclusion, request an extension, or submit a revocation request, contact Swiss4win Customer Care via the secure in-site support channel or through the official contact methods described in your account dashboard. Communications will be treated confidentially in accordance with applicable privacy protections and Swiss4win policies.
